The Abkhazian bazaar! Those smells, the sounds … It smells like wine barrels and cornbread, sheep’s cheese, and roasted chestnuts. The subtle scent of cherry plums and tobacco – pressed tobacco leaves. Cheese hanging… matsoni, my favorite yogurt.Â
