A thoughtful comment which can be applied to the common enough feeling of lacking time, whether in the span of a day, a year or a life.  I’ve had this quotation in mind for decades, yet have still been susceptible to periods of forcing time.

For us, the living, the problem is of a totally different order: how to harness time in the cultivation of a style of heart … not to force time, as the weak do, for that spells self-injury and dismay, but to harness its rhythms and put them to our own use. 

Still learning, after all these years, and still luxuriating in the recent transition to a relative richness of time.
